100 Innovative Flash Games, Part 1 of 10
Sep 29th, 2009 by Jack of all Games

Because flash (et al) gaming is where a BIG part of the originality lies today:
1. Crazy Chess - action chess where you control a knight protecting its side of the board from hostile pawn invasion. Pwn them pawns!
2. Micro Life - little creatures have crawled into existance and need you to help them survive and develop. Teach them basic life skills and one day they’ll make you proud (or just chuck you into a nursing home).
3. Pigeon Memory – a variation on the classic memory game. Match pairs of pigeons – harder when they’re moving around! There’s also this damned kid…
4. Tri-Achnid - original challenges and a haunting atmosphere in a story of a spider who’s on a sacred parental mission to save his unborn children.
5. Eggway – draw a path for the slurpy, half-baked egg, get it into the pan without it breaking or spilling.
6. Tontie – Whack-a-Mole evolved! Hit the creatures, collect the gold, buy ever bigger hammers, talk softly.
7. High Heels (Kakato Otoshi) – weirdest job on earth? Cut the high heels from under the women without making them lose their delicate balance.
8. Cereus Peashy - at its core a side-scrolling action game, but the crazy art style, characters and powers make it a whole other ballgame.
9. Rooms – a room-swapping adventure that will have you spatially confused.
10. Obnoxious – definitely frustrating but also frustratingly addictive maze game, where every move you make is mirrored by your alternate self. Both selves must switch places to complete a level.
