Freeloader Relaunch
Oct 20th, 2009 by Jack of all Games

Veteran British free content game site Freeloader has relaunched recently, sporting both a new design and new content.
The “Free PC Games” section is not very interesting – just a collection of the usual flash games you’ll find in a thousand places across the web. The worthwhile content, or promisingly worthwhile, is under the “Free Game Downloads” tab, where the site will offer a new commercial game for download each week.
To enjoy this weekly offer you have to (freely) subscribe to the site with a working email address. After downloading the week’s game, a personal activation code will be delivered to your inbox.
This week, the game on offer is first person shooter Frontlines: Berlin 1945.

i remember freeloader from my 56k days i thought it was a really good idea. nice too see its back up and running, ill have to take a look
Free commercial games once a week? Wow, I wonder if we will see some really good things in here… and do they last past the week? That is a good marketing idea for a free week playing a game. Giving them away though? I don’t see how they could make up the money.
